At Faith Builders Christian Academy, our Testing & Assessment Services provide families with reliable academic data, clear insight, and documented progress monitoring — especially for students participating in Florida’s Personalized Education Program (PEP).

Under Florida Statutes Section 1002.01 and scholarship guidelines administered through Step Up For Students, PEP students are required to complete a nationally norm-referenced assessment annually to demonstrate educational progress.

FBCA supports families in meeting this requirement while using assessment data as a powerful instructional tool — not just a compliance checkbox.

i-Ready Diagnostic Assessments

FBCA offers the i-Ready Diagnostic, a nationally normed assessment that measures student achievement and growth in:

• Reading

• Mathematics

The i-Ready Diagnostic is adaptive, meaning it adjusts to each child’s level in real time. This allows us to:

• Identify skill gaps

• Measure grade-level proficiency

• Track growth from beginning to end of year

• Create targeted academic plans

• Provide documented progress reports for families

What to Expect

Testing Session

Students will complete the i-Ready Diagnostic in a quiet, structured environment. Testing is proctored to ensure integrity and accuracy.

Time varies by grade level but typically ranges from:

• 45–90 minutes per subject

Testing may be scheduled:

• Beginning of year (Baseline)

• Mid-year (Progress Check)

• End-of-year (Growth Verification)

After Testing

Families receive:

• Individual student score reports

• Grade-level proficiency breakdown
