What is Our Microschool?

Faith Builders Christian Academy (FBCA) is proud to offer a microschool program designed specifically for homeschool students. Our program provides a structured, faith-based learning environment while preserving the flexibility and parental oversight of homeschooling.

This option is ideal for families who want the benefits of homeschool freedom combined with certified teacher instruction, small-group learning, and a supportive Christian community.

Who Is Eligible?

This program is designed for:

  • Families seeking academic support in a independent microschool setting while maintaining homeschool compliance

  • Students approved for a Step Up for Students scholarship under (PEP or UA).

  • Students who may have struggled in traditional school environments due to a learning disability, reading difficulty, or academic challenges, and who would benefit from a smaller, nurturing school setting

Parent Partnership

Full-Time

Our full-day program provides a comprehensive educational experience, blending strong academics with a variety of enrichment activities. Students receive daily instruction in core subjects and participate in engaging activities such as art, STEM, hands-on learning, and social-emotional development.

Part-Time

3 days per week

Our 3-day academic program runs Monday through Wednesday and offers focused instruction in core subjects including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. This option is ideal for families seeking a solid academic foundation with the flexibility of a part-time schedule.

Enrichment

Enrichment Program (1 Day: Friday)

Our enrichment-only option is designed to foster creativity, collaboration, and exploration. Students participate in themed learning days that include STEM, art, project-based learning, social activities, and in-house field trips—all in a fun and engaging environment.

Course Offerings

  • Students develop strong reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills through phonics-based instruction, vocabulary building, grammar, reading comprehension, and creative writing. Literature is carefully selected to reflect Christian principles and promote moral development.

  • Focused on fluency, comprehension, and critical thinking, our reading instruction includes guided reading sessions, leveled readers, and text analysis. Students explore a variety of genres and are encouraged to develop independent reading habits.

  • Our math curriculum builds a solid foundation in number sense, operations, problem-solving, geometry, and basic algebraic thinking. Instruction includes hands-on activities and real-life application to help students see the relevance of math in the world around them.


  • Students explore God’s creation through age-appropriate investigations in life science, physical science, and earth/space science. Emphasis is placed on inquiry, observation, and discovery through hands-on experiments and projects.

  • Students gain an understanding of community, culture, history, geography, and citizenship. Our curriculum integrates biblical worldview perspectives, helping students connect historical events with Christian values.

  • Creative expression is encouraged through art projects, music appreciation, and movement-based activities. These subjects support cognitive development, coordination, and emotional growth.

  • Daily Bible lessons and scripture memorization are at the heart of our spiritual development program. Students learn about biblical characters, Christian values, and how to apply God’s Word to their everyday lives.

  • Elective Course

    An engaging, biblically grounded introduction to Spanish featuring 34 weekly lessons, for young learners—even without prior exposure
